Yixuan Chen - Founder & Overall Manager

I am Yixuan Chen and study in Albany Academies now. Economy is surrounded by human beings all day, and it is an indispensable part of the human world. But, by far, the most popular websites on the market analyze a series of economic "big" events through a very academic and adult lens. I believe that students' voices in this field are lacking, and what students need is a platform without right or wrong but critical opinions. The above review is the reason why I want to create a student-led and vocal platform.

Yuhang Han - Marketing Leader

My name is Jayden Han, I come from Nanjing, China. I’m currently at Albany, and I’m a senior this fall. I have been in America since 2019. I’m interested in economics and economic events around the world. The reason I join E-X-ray is that I want to work with my friends and share different ideas about economics. Also, I’m looking forward to talking with new friends about economics. I take microeconomics and macroeconomics at school, so we can discuss economic issues with each other. Besides economics, we can discuss anything we want. I’m also interested in basketball, sneakers, etc..

Chloe Pascoe - Writing Leader

Hi! My name is Chloe, and I am a full-time student at the Albany Academies. I was born and raised in Columbia County, to two immigrant parents, in a multicultural household. Outside of the classroom — where I enjoy studying mathematics, English literature, and US history — my interests include music, movies, books, and art. Additionally, I love competing on the Albany Academies' Mock Trial team, where I have fostered a love for the legal profession. In the future, I hope to pursue a law degree.

In my downtime, I discovered a love of learning outside of my classes in school. Growing up mixed-race in a small town, I developed a passion online for social justice and activism, which required me to learn more about global history. I often find myself deeply fascinated by historical events — specifically, major economic booms and downturns. E-Xray is a platform for students like me who need an outlet to speculate and discuss the financial matters that interest them. I am so thankful to be a part of this incredible team of students!

Hi!! I am Melody Huang, a student studying in an international school in Taiwan. As a person who cares about global issues, joining Economic Xray meant a lot to me. I get to explore big economic events with people all around the world. Being the Advertising Leader of the group, I specialize in designing and propagating and making sure everything you see looks good😎I care about global issues such as the SDGs as well, and I found my very own non-profit organization called SDA17.

In my spare time, I love to sleep and exercise, especially swimming and biking!! FYI, I am an enfp! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you simply need someone to talk to lol.

Sky Zhou - Writing Member

Hi! I am Sky Zhou from Georgia School Ningbo(GSN) as a full time G11 student. Economy is currently a buzz word that everyone pays attention to. As I have learned related knowledge about economics, my passions toward economics are aroused. Furthermore, I am intrigued by writing. I scored 29 out of 30 in TOEFL writing task and I craved for an opportunity to combine economics and writing. I really appreciate the chance provided by E-Xray to accept me as one participant of this great team.

In my spare time, I like playing sports like basketball, tennis and table tennis. Sport allows me to unwind and take my mind away from anxiety. Besides, I like to read articles on renowned websites such as the Economist, BBC and National Geographic. Reading is indeed advantageous which brings me new perspectives about controversial issues in this world. Last but not least, I am honored to join E-Xray and looking forward to work with my outstanding colleagues!
